My friend told me Axner is republishing Dennis's Park book on Firing
with recycled oil and using natural materials. It has been out of print
for years.I read parts of it when I visited friends who had it. Dennis
runs the Tuscarora Pottery in Nevada. Great place with a history. His
summer program sleeps the participants in the little hotel. He owns half
the ghost town and 3 or 4 others live there too including his son, Ben
and his family.
The sense of place is something we all hold dear.
