does anyone know what types of glazes and the temp. they used in the =
early 1800-1850 around the st. louis/st. charles, missouri area...=20
if any info. would be wonderful...

Andy,
The best source for knowledge about "early" glaze and firing technology in
the U.S. is Prof. Richard Zakin, in the Art Department at SUNY Oswego. He
is very busy, but may have time to answer.
Meanwhile, you might check the bibliography the book "Adelaide Alsop
Robineau...," edited by Peg Weiss--if you can find a copy.
