Dear Clayart,
My misunderstanding after collecting the Strontium Matt glazes from =
Chris' site, I thought they were developed by Chris. I must have missed =
on the site information that Pinnell glazes adapted by him from cone 10 =
to Cone 6. Great glazes for decorative. I am glad to be informed by =
2 Clayarters where they originated from Pete Pinnell and were published =
a fews years ago in CM. From now on forward, I will send source only as =
Clayart, sent by.... if I am not 100 precent sure of the author of the =
glaze. Apologies to Pete Pinnell for this miscrediting.

Secondly, when I say I measure all decimals up or down to the nearest =
decimal, I mean over 5 up, under 5 down. For example: 9.2 Ball Clay =
becomes 9.0
9.6 =
Ball Clay becomes 10.0
This is how I do it. =20
OXIDES however, are measured concisely as possible as the precent to the =
given recipe. Since most recipes are measured up to 100 gr. for the =
convience, 3.0 gr. Copper ox. would be 3%. Copper ox. If the reader =
adds up the test recipe, they will find that 9 out of 10 of the test =
posts add up to 100. A recipe adding up to 100 is a convience, not a =
necesity. Tom, if you want to back me up. So, if you make 50 gr. test =
batches, still use 3%, but 3% of 50 or whatever you are mixing.
Hope this clarifies any confusion when I say I round up or down. I mean =
only the glaze materials, and not the colorants that follow after "add".
Best regards,
Alisa

I've had those formulas for so long I had lost who they were from. Excuse
my rudeness Mr. Pinnell, I have been remiss in my record keeping. You will
be credited as soon as I can upload the new page. chris
