I have now designed two web sites with Front Page and found both have been
worth while, bringing me into touch with people who I could never have
reached in any other way. Having your own digicam is invaluable but,
running a gallery, I find a first class scanner is equally important. I was
tempted to get someone else to design the present web site because I felt I
hadn't really got time but I soon found that no matter how good a designer
might be technically, no one really understood what I wanted to get across,
nor would I be able to update the site just when I wanted to. All I need
now is to more time to spend on search engines!

Have several questions? How effective has your webpage been? What have you
include or excluded from your page that you would change? How has your
experience been with --checksonline, aurthoirznet, and palpay? Have you used
anyone to create your page, if so, who and how much? Do you recommend, Front

Janelle Seiberlich asks how effective our WebPages have been. I've been very
happy with mine. Not that I've sold a lot of pieces through it. I feel I've
had great success with presenting detailed information about the workshops
offered here in the Summer this way. Its allowed me to offer these workshops
without printing up any hardcopy or spending hours on the phone (and those
calls are invariably at an inconvenient moment).
My page was originally constructed by Kayo Parsons Korn, a fellow clayarter
and accomplished web designer. I've just done my best to expand and update in
the same style she originally established for it. Following her advice, I have
chosen to use HoTMetaL software to work with the site. I like it a lot. I
think it gives you more design control than Front Page used to. All these
programs are constantly evolving to give more options though.
I've not invested in any sort of online payment program. This has no doubt
restricted my sales considerably. I just wasn't even concerned about selling
online when I first set up the page. Now I'm seriously considering various
options. Looking forward to hearing of others experiences in that vein.

I would suggest using Dreamweaver with support from Illustrator and
Photoshop. These are the programs I used to make my page, which I did
myself. chris
