I have heard of making oxide pencils...
an Instructor, whose name escapes me, from Tempe, Arizona...
had a recipe in Ceramics Monthly.
Any ideas of the materials used to bind the oxide/stain
for use at cone 10?
I want to make a material for drawing on clay....
while I realize amaco and others manufacture chalks...
any ideas?
Do you calcine the material and at what temp.?
