Since you asked, although I have similar messages in the archives, for =
weeks at a time my Bailey slabroller is my right arm. It's easy to =
operate; almost no understanding of its mechanical wonders is necessary; =
and I like having the canvas already in place (comes through the rollers =
between a folded canvas) for turning large slabs or for transporting =
slabs across the studio.=20

If I were ordering again today, I might order the electric version; my =
thinking was that the added muscle needed to turn the wagon wheel in =
order to pull the slab through the rollers suits my physical needs. Now =
I'm thinking ahead to the times when I'll be more of a tottering antique =
person even than I am today, and wonder about the wisdom of excluding =
the electrical assistance.

I find Bailey always helpful when responding to messages/calls from us =
dunderheads who MUST have directions spelled out in minute detail. Some =
few potter suppliers are the ceramic equivalent of AOL ... once the sale =
is made, no help is given.... that is decidedly NOT true of Bailey.
