Spooze is the name actually!, and it was invented by Peggy Heer.
I had used it when I read about it on Clayart to help handles joints =
when the pot was very dry. The mix I copied was sugar, vinegar and =
clay, or honey and the rest. My only drawback was in the summer months I =
had a lot of wasps in my studio that seemed to like it also.
It certainly worked to prevent cracking and filling in existing hairline =
cracks. If I need something like that, I mix some paperfibre with my =
usual clay body's slip into a thick slurry. I paint and dab it on =
recklessly, and when it is dry, I smooth it over again, careful not to =
remove all of.
Best regards,
