A quick observation here. When L. Arbuckle placed her recent post here I
started roaming the url links and found to my delight allot of great
information and beautiful pottery. Richard Peelers work is part of the ga=
llery
and I must commend those who have contributed to the great gallery of wor=
ks.

After-thoughts on barium. I have been/still am working on a project of
coversions using substitutes, barium is something that happens to be one =
of
those. The last post was written expressing the potential for gaining sim=
ilar
results by exchanging barium out for strontium. I need to note that I
understand that barium replacement with strontium alone has not always
provided exacting results. I had felt I was clear on that in my post but =
I
needed to confirm this.

find detailed information on your research and exchanges. (Original recip=

your exchanged recipe). I don't use barium myself so your guiding mind wo=

be much help! However I do have an ample collection of test pieces using
barium.. I also have the conversion I wrote for replacing GB with frit 43=

with some modifications to it. =
And I am still in the midst of getting test tiles for the 10 people who a=

for some examples in regards to my glazes I posted. Its been a terribly b=
usy
last few months. Its coming together and I have all of your addy's. I fee=

awefull that I haven't been quicker but they are forth-coming. I did buy =
a
digital camera so I could put some pictures up real soon on those glazes!=
!!!!
But nothing is better than what meets the eye and in person. Alisa, yours=
is
about to go out. I know your time frame is limited when you visit next mo=
nth.
