cookbook deadlines & info

Howdy again folks! Just back from the printers, where we decided that =
if we get enough submissions, we'll have 16 pages of color photos in the =
book! (Woo HOO!!!) Now if THAT don't get you excited about it, nothing =
will. We're going to have nice heavy paper and 6 divider tabs of the =
following categories:

Appetizers
Bread
Soup/Salad
Vegetation
Meat
Dessert

Each divider tab will also be a color photo.
International dishes are not only welcome but encouraged!

Again, here is what I need from you:

Image(s) of your work on a 3.5" floppy or CDR labelled w/ your name and =
email address, scanned at 350dpi in TIFF or EPS format. If you don't =
have a slide scanner, you can take your slide to a local service bureau =
or full-service camera store, and they will do the job for you.

Recipes, preferably in MSWord format, in 12pt black Arial font. =20
I WILL BE REVIEWING/EDITING RECIPES FOR ACCURACY, BUT PLEASE BE SURE =
YOUR MEASUREMENTS/INGREDIENTS ARE CORRECT BEFORE SENDING THE RECIPE TO =
ME!!! =20

DEADLINE : All recipes/Images must be in my hot little hands no later =
than July 25, 2001.

REPEAT: All recipes/images MUST be in my hands by JULY 25, 2001.

You do NOT have to submit an image to submit a recipe. We can =
definitely have more recipes than photos. You also do not have to =
submit a recipe to submit an image.

Place items in proper mailer and send to:

Living Tree Pottery
8406 Hudson James Road
Summerfield, NC 27358

Include SASE if you want your items returned to you.

Looking forward to this!

They should not be from someone else's cookbook, if that's what you're

Hi L.P.,

I didn't want you to think I was a liar. I was very interested in the recipe
book. My problem was the timing. I have had back to back shows and a husband
who decided to take off the month of July. I just have had no time to figure
out what recipe or what pot to enter... hell, I didn't even have time to
photograph my new work before it sold.

So if you decide to do this again next year I will try to be more organized
and get it ready before my busy season starts.

Thanks for doing all the work for the cookbook.
