Hi all,

I will send a reply to this person telling them about Clayart, but I thought
I would share the post with you in case any one would like to respond
directly.

Thanks, Candise

Hi, Candise!

My name is Jiri Lonsky. I just graduated from the University of Kansas with
a BFA in sculpture. My own work is centered around ceramic figurative
sculpture. I have found your website while searching the web for artists who
work with ceramics and use the human figure as a theme or inspiration. I
have undertaken this search to network with you for the exchange of
information of all kinds, principally to find any kindred souls out there…
However, there are two particular themes I am trying to research right now,
and would appreciate your input on:

1) I am trying to find a good graduate school with strong program and focus
on the figure, which at the same time should have good ceramics facilities.
 Can you recommend a school?
 Do you know anyone who could?

2) I am trying to find a place that offers artist residencies in ceramic
work. Any suggestions?

I am looking for tips to places anywhere in the US.

Thank you very much for your time; your input and insight are extremely
valuable to me.
Please respond to jirilonsky@hotmail.com.

Yours,

Jiri Lonsky
