His selling price is $200. It does include posts, shelves, and
kiln sitter. It seems that used kilns in this area are pretty rare
I've been to the L&L web site and they still sell a kiln under the
same name. They also will send me a copy of the manual, etc,
for this specific kiln for a small fee.
My current kiln is Much Much smaller than this one, and was
meant for low fire slipcast - and will only fire to 6 (well, honestly?
4 or 5). My current throwing preference is red 5/6 stoneware.
The J18X is 17.5" diam x 27" d (inside).
Thanks so much for all your help!

Dee, I have one that is about 15 years old and it is a real work
horse. I have never had a problem with it, and only had to replace a
broken element once. it fires fairly evenly with not too much
manipulation. If the bricks aren't broken, and there isn't rust. snap
it up. you won't be sorry.
Millie in Md. where we seem to be having our traditional 4th of july
cool spell complete with thunder storms. And the cool air is so
breathable, clean a fresh.
