I have a very lovely glaze that I like but has a tendency to run. I had a
few porcelains with fluted tops with exquisite glaze but that ran off the
piece and onto the shelves and left a few chinks in the foot, a few
flaws. The glazes are so pretty that I am still inclined to sell them as
art pieces. ...with the under standing that they ARE rare and gorgeous
because of the melt. Would I be undermining my reputation to place them on
the sale shelf? and I thought they might bring $85.00 if flawless....How
about $40.00 or is this a risk. How do others handle this dilemma.

The only Elaine Coleman carved porcelain celadon pots that I can afford
are her seconds. Go for it.
