These printer folks are pretty smart, they seem to be doing different forms of "dusting" even in modern processes. No idea if we can use any of themt to dust stains yet, but I found a company that specializes in applying powders evenly over large areas.
The description of "Powder Box used in the printing industries for preparing Copper Etching Plates" did not seem to ring a bell with any of the people I spoke with so far.
I am wondering if anybody knows of some sort of simple hand operated gizmo for close up "focused" powder dusting. Perhaps this would be the place to start?
