fast fire catenary wood kiln?

Well, I'm getting prepared for my foundation slab, but still searching for
info on what's the best way to go. Has anyone built a IFB fast-fire
catenary arch kiln with the fireboxes beneath as in Olsen's kiln? I've
seen plans for internal firebox versions, and hard brick versions, but no
insulated fire brick ones...yet. Thanks to all who've responded to my
queries. Andy

As a matter of interest John Thies from Maryland built a fast firing 2
chambered Catenary woodfired kiln at the International Ceramics Festival
at Aberystwyth in Wales 1st weekend in July. That was, despite problems
with the fuel supplied, a thundering success. Fred Olsen was also there
demonstrating his unique talent for pyromania!
