Without a doubt in my head my Mentor of Mentors was Karen Karns.....I grew up
in Stony Point NY and in walking distance to her studio....and then MC
Richards who became her apprentice for a while....those two women gave me my
very first point of asthetic....and the knowing that being a fulltime artist
was a reality for them and a possibility for me......and grateful for my
early experiences with them....My work is on the surface my own....but the
bones comes from them......
