Ray Gonzalez asked for textural glazes. For general creepiness, lumpiness
and odd responses, just add too much lithium carbonate to whatever high-fire
glaze you'd like to have perform at ^04-^06.
With careful adjustments, adding LiCO3 to some hi-fires tames them to a
presentable performance at low temps. Tests will tell.

I am looking for a glaze with unique textures for cone 6 that is both
functional and practical yet interesting in texture. Any ideas?

Very few really tactile-textured glazes are fully functional in a practical=
way.
If you are willing to do some experimenting there are a few
starting points that might give visual texture effects
