Hello List: I want to thank all who have replied on and off the list for
info on my hard brick Olsen Fast-fire wood kiln. I should have mentioned in
my original post that I had no intention of making this a "fast" fire kiln.
I knew by using hard brick that wouldn't be likely. I have received some
ideas that will be put into action such as insulating the roof and walls and
increasing the stack height. I am also going to use a different fuel rather
than cedar. From the info gathered, it seems to be a finicky kiln.
