Dear Valerie Johnson,
This seems like a good idea which will work provided the axis of =
rotation of the drum is horizontal,( which I understand is the case for =
a clothes dryer) and the rotation is slow enough for gravity to overcome =
centripetal force( I may be wrong with the Physics there!!!) There is a =
device called a Planetary Ball Mill which has locations for internal =
jars. This runs with a vertical axis and the jars also rotate. The =
effect is "ear" as well as "earth" shattering.
