A reminder to clayart folks...
A 1 August deadline for reduced-rate registration is soon approaching
for a wonderful educational opportunity.
Mel will be in Westminster Colorado (a Denver suburb)
24-26 August, 2001 leading a hand-on workshop to build a
"Minnesota Flat Top" gas fired kiln. This will be a great
opportunity to learn from one of the outstanding clay artists
of our time. Participants will not only learn about the process
of kiln building, but will assist in the actual construction of the kiln.
Schedule:
24 August, 1-5pm; 25 Aug, 9a-4p, 26 Aug, 10a-4p.
Breakfasts will be provided. Lunches will be potluck.
