mentor needed

I feel somewhat intimidated by the level of expertise on this list and feel
reluctant to post my questions. Although I've been working with clay since
'85, I settled into a nice little rut for most of these years. I'm now
forced into changing clays, and there are several questions that I can't
seem to find an answer to.

If anyone would be prepared to write to me privately to help, I would be
eternally grateful... Rita

Dear Rita.... you are in the same position each on this list is either =
in now, or has been at an earlier point. I'm sure many would help =
mentor you... but
it would be beneficial to others, who need the kind of help that you and =
I need, to hear your questions and the responses they would generate. =
That's what Clayart is.... sharing, discussions, the opportunity to =
use one's hard-
earned knowledge to help others, and to be helped in return.=20

A claybud posted me when I first came on the list telling me pretty =
much the same thing ... thank you, David H.
