Greetings: Still jet-lagged from my trip to France, I am
contemplating a trip to Boston, Mass., where I was born and
raised and where I might attend my high school reunion.
Anyway, I am about to order my air ticket, having established
a place to stay in Newton Centre for 4 to 6 nights.
I am thinking of doing the Craft Galleries and/or others
on either Friday, September 7th, or Tuesday, Sep. 11th.
The galleries, excepting the Museum of Fine Arts (where I attended
Sat. art classes for yrs., are not open Mondays, and I think
I would prefer to do that now huge museum alone on Monday, the 10th.)
But it would be fun to meet a Clayarter to "do" Newbury Street
on either of the forementioned dates, and also take a break for
lunch there.
Anyone out there interested in connecting either date?
I managed to keep up with Russel Fouts one day in Paris, so I
can manage half a day possibly.
I need to order my air ticket soon, so would like to hear from anyone
interested.
Regards, Bacia

Boy Bacia, I sure wish I could join you on Newbury st. What fun. I also
went to saturday classes at the museum around the same time you did.
..............I have something to tell you that will amuse you. After god
knows how many years,[we last saw each orther in highschool] I am going to
see Your own personal Humbert Humbert's daughter, Shulka Ben Israel. I
am really excited. He is no longer among us, tho his wife, Tina, still is
going strong at 94. It will be so interesting to me[basically narcisistic]
to meet someone again from a pristine part of me past. Hope your fine,
stay in touch. Rikki
