Bee-Mix is manufactured by Aardvark, B-Mix is made by Laguna, and Jon
says the formulas aren't similar.

But whatta I know?

I don't use as much clay as many of you but I do buy in the half tons four to six times a year.....Is that a lot or a little? Whatever, I don't worry about it. Also I haven't experienced any kind of crack in the three years I've been doing my own firing..... not sure what the main contributor is .... probably a combination.... and being taught to fire by Clayart gurus.

Your invoices are written that way because that's the name of the clay.
Aardvark has come out with these two new ones (one at ^5, the other at ^10),
and I have heard nothing but raves over them. Just ordered a half-ton for
myself, matter of fact....

For what it's worth...

Laguna makes "B Mix"
Aardvark makes "Bee Mix"

These are different clay bodies made by different manufacturers. (Maybe
there are others too...?) No wonder there is a bit of confusion about this.
