If I recall the original message, the writer was concerned with learning =
and applying the processes given in an article in PMI.
Recent posts seem to have lost that intention.
The two part solution being offered has a long history, about four =
millennia or so. But in the context of the PMI article it is a way of =
fudging around the problem. Yes, a very good way of making unusual =
designs of pottery with parts that pose structural difficulties, but in =
this context, a fudge.
