The trick to making good handles is to design them for little old ladies =
and wizened old gents who enjoy a good mug of coffee but, because of =
their arthritis and rheumatism, have great difficulty in both holding =
and rotating industrially produced mugs whose handles are attached by a =
machine. If they can enjoy using you mugs without pain or other =
distress, your design is a success. You will have to work out the design =
philosophy and theory for yourselves.
