I'm sorry, but this is in very bad taste and also illegal. I hope everyone
will disregard this offer and obtain your copy of the Shimaoka tape by
normal legal channels.

Here's a BRAVE one-time only, offer.
I have a good quality videotape titled "Rope Impressed Inlay Mingei
Pottery-The Hands of Master Shimaoka." 37 minutes
The pottery part is interesting, but I liked the segment of firing the wood
If you send me a blank video cassette I will make you a copy. One tape-one
The brave part of this offer is I don't know if I'm going to get 1 tape or
So, here's the rest of the offer...I have to have the tapes in hand by
October 1st. That's the cut-off date. No copies after Oct. 1. Send your
blank cassette to me in a padded, reusable envelope with your name and
address printed on it and sufficient return postage (whatever it cost you to
send it to me, is the same as what it will cost me to send it to you-but at
your expense). If you don't send me postage, I don't send you your tape.
Please enclose a business card or photo of one of your pots or something for
me to pin-up on my wall of inspiration. Quotes, mediations, haiku, whatever.
I like stuff.
Give me a couple of weeks to return the tape before you start emailing me
and cursing. I will get to it..
Please don't make me regret ever having made this offer.
Send your tape(s) to-
