Hi,
This is a shining example of NOT wanting to speak out
on any issues here but yet I'm so willing to have my
head on the chopping block I do it without hesitation.
Everyone has an opinion be it good or bad. Distortions
usually find some play in the middle because of so
many he said, she saids being involved once things
gain momentum.
Vince made a good call, John made a good call but
somewhere between the two lies the reality only known
to the one reading it. Its worth is only as good as
the one reading it deems it to be!
Writing something without checking the details or
asking questions harm people. Harm is a hard thing to
over-come once someone places it into motion. I have
been maimed a time or two myself and I can only thank
those who wish to continue self serving justice and
dishing out sentences and guilt. I only assume they
have nothing better to do or they just like to stir
the cauldren?
We all should be able to voice a concern. Debates
without background investigation are really time
consuming and limited however if we are to make sense
out of the argument to begin with.
If 5 people went to an event and one really hated it
does it make it less desirable to others who attended
or may attend one latter? If that one person places it
in a negative way for others to read more times than
not they take it for face value without question. Yes,
that is true so don't argue with me now!
Then, why would we elect to argue points without the
full context and corroberated evidence of the whole
group? Those which had attended the conference of work
shop come to mind.
One person may have experience in the subject at the
workshop and feel they are gaining nothing at all.
Another may be completely out in left field on the
same subject and come away filled with new found
information and totally elated by it.
This group has became known at times to attract
arguments without good background information or
simply just something to do to pass time apparently?
However we are all still a great tribe of people here!
(I include me in here as well) I borrowed some of
Arti's snakes this morning!
For my own needs I would like to know when a person
goes to a conference or meet and post their personal
finds so I can use good basic knowledge to determine
if I may choose to go the next time. If I had a
choice, and I don't, I would love to see the good/bad
put into perspective. If one says its bad I want to
know what was it that made it bad. Did someone get
slapped on the head or stepped on? Did they pay a ton
of money and was left alone the whole time holding a
bag of clay and no wheel to throw on? Of course if we
see this kind of reaction upon their return, naming
names wouldn't help unless it is done jointly with the
whole group of attendee's. Other than that it is
lacking full merit and becomes opinionated. Oh I have
had my butt chewed so often on here that I wear
leather underwear. I went from thin skinned to full
body armor in order to just be able to read and
excericse a standard right to communicate the way I
choose.
We are all liable for slander at some point in our
life! This group is NOT the exception and that is what
groups do. They talk, gossip, rip apart, put together,
fix, fake, comply and deny. I greatly admire many of
you and will always be willing to stick my head out
there and be nosy when I am not so busy. I expect the
replies to flood in which will eliminate me as a human
with feelings and throw negative light over my head.
The BIG picture is how I handle it in the end. For
those who are finished hanging on that wood, do you
mind coming down and letting me borrow it for awhile?
Or another good one - He who is without sin cast the
first stone. Who really gives a rats back-side if one
person makes a statement not consistent with your
thought pattern for today? Read the stuff, throw it
out, act like you don't know them or learn to decide
for yourself or ask someone who is involved in daily
living that has the experience and knows how to answer
you in a manner that you understand. BTW - They are
more William's on this list than me and I see several
places where it could easily be misunderstood on who
posted what unless you are using the last name too!
I'm William E. I got a recent comment off-list in
regards to a post which I didn't make. However all it
said was William... Lets try to do better! This is a
great forum contrary to all the rumble and tumble. I
need to put my old Alchemy 101 back in order I think!!
After all, I really would hate for another William to
get linched due to a misunderstanding of some kind.
Mr. Other William, sorry but they are more than one
out here. I will honor your name as best as I can when
someone decides to write me off list. (Insert smile)I
also won't hold you liable if they chew me out if you
promise to do the same.
