Wish we'd had this conversation several years ago. My wheel came with
holes 8" on center, so I took the head to a carpentery shop and they
drilled 10" holes....OFF center. When I throw, I begin with a clay line
to re-create a center. It was awkward for awhile, but now I rather like
it; if I remove the bat and want to continue later, it's so obvious
which way it goes.... Lesley (I guess we can always figure out how to
adjust to things!)
