Albany slip 85%
Neph syenite 5%
Wollastonite 10 %
Cobalt oxide 2

we once had a glaze called "mouse black" which contained albany slip and
evidently cobalt. One time the person making the glaze accidently left out
the cobalt. and the result was a gorgeous mahogony colored deep brown......
Since the demise of albany slip, both glazes have vanished from our batch
of glazes.
but somehow I don;t think this is what you had in mind.....
