Gee, Phil I enjoyed your post on handles. I had been thinking about why a
hockey stick is not round, a pick, an axe and all that and you answered it
beautifully.
the little round handle that you love on the Hall mugs I am now making. It
is a favourite of my as well . I just made a mold to slip cast them but I
want the thick walled straight mug to go with it. When I'm satisfied with
the design elements ( which are ought to be simple) but I am fighting the
years of throwing too well and making them too wimpy. I'll send you a cup
when I'm happy.
I'd appreciate the jpeg of yours to compare with the mental notes I have of
the one I liked to use some 40 yars ago when my dad would take me to Jack's
Diner on Saturday morning for a bacon and tomato sandwich with french fries.
Yes, I drank coffee at 10 years old. My mom claims she even put it my baby
bottle.
cheers,
Tony
P>S I have really enjoyed the level of discussion on the "wee" handle.

Dear Tony,

How happy!

I shall 'jay-peg' ye right soon...

I have 'two' what have the 'teddy-bear' ear...so they shall be the
Portriated of candidates...

They are 'thick'...posess a 'swell' where they meet the ground...'table' or
what as may be...where they stop.

Oh!

Your fine Mother was wise of intuition, judgement, AND their happy
application...

"Coffee"...

And too..."Cigarettes"..."Scotch"...are they not as well, the true 'ritual'
Sacrements of the 'Western' of World?
Tho' not to countenance an immodest aquaintence...they 'attend'...and are
therebye, 'attended'...

Yes?

And...they are Loyal.
