Dear Rick Monteverde,
My next project is to make porous clay cooking pots, some of which will =
be unglazed and fired to about ^06. These will be serviceable and =
functional. In fact they would not function if they were fully vitrified =
since they would become casseroles. Not only that, we have found there =
are several very good recipe books which rely on this type of wear being =
manufactured to give a good way of cooking healthy, relatively fat free =
dishes.
I am please to know that clay can be processed in an infinite variety of =
ways so that all tastes can be satisfied.
