Gail Dapogny askes what brand etc. Linda Blossom uses. I have no idea. never
looked. Don't think it matters much as long as it is a quality unit.
These "central" vacuums are mostly made for houses. The main unit will be
placed in a closet or the garage or wherever and connected throught the house
by pvc pipe to connectors in most of the rooms. These little buggers usually
have lots of suction because they are ment to opperate over the long distance
of an entire multi-story home.
So ya just plug in the hose in whatever room ya want to vacuum. Not the best
system, in my opinion, for house carpet cleanning but great for studio, shop
type stuff.

When I have names of mfg.s etc. I'll post them for ya all ( unless I get
lucky and someone else does it first ). In the mean time I'd check out
builders supply places like Lowes and Home Depot ( try the special order desk
), or equipment supply places like grangers etc.

Linda uses a "Beam" brand central vacuum in her studio. Marc Ward at Ward
Burner Systems sells them. You can find his add in any copy of CM.
