Hi Ababi....thanks for the photo....as you said before, your students enjoy
their leaves, and I think they did a great job with their pouring vessels.
I know from my own experiences here that it is not always easy teaching
beginners who want everything perfect-even if they don't know how.....we are
having an exhibition here of student work, on Nov. 25th...you're invited !!

Thank you Melinda.
Can you upload their works to a site like mine?
To one of the lessons, when we made these vessels with "my' women came
people who donate to "Eden Association". Yes, some of the people in Israel
( as well in the USA who donate to Eden ) believe that the peace is , at
least within the citizens of Israel passing through good relationship and
helping these people. So they came saw how these women made these pouring
vessels. For me it was pretty hard lesson because We had to make thing in an
"unlogical" way, which we, all, familiar with. First the spots, than the
handles so they can dry a bit and only after that the vessel. I prepared one
before to help them know and believe I knew what I told them. You were
right, I did not know how to write it. The point is, I am expressionist , I
give them my colors, my tools my expressionist feelings tools glazes, yet
you see their works, they look as taken from their own culture.
I want to write about my work with them, about these women but it will take
sometime.
Do you know what is the most sadistic moment of the ceramic teacher?
When you help your student, after he has painted his\hers first piece over
an hour and deep it in a raw glaze. Did you ever look at his\hers face?
