cone 8 white stoneware in us

While I was in Ireland I tuned my glazes for cone 8
oxidation firing. Now that I'm back in the US I would
prefer not to take my electric kiln up to cone 10 but to
continue developing at cone 8.

So I'm looking for a nice cone 8 white stoneware throwing body.
I was using Draycot (Potclays 1143M), which is a finely grogged
body with maybe a quarter fireclay. This is the kind of stuff
Mel would probably call "baby poo". It had a dense, lovely ring
when fired.

Cone 8 was a real sweet spot in Ireland & the UK but is no man's
land here. Any suggestions for pre-mix clay?

If you are in the vicinity of Richmond, VA, Campbell's
Ceramic has a cone 8-10 white stoneware.

I don't know anything about the other locations, but
according to a quick Google search and this website, they
also have locations in Alexandria, VA, Knoxville, TN, and
Mebane, NC.

P.S. - go to that website and you will find a listiing and
breakdown and description of the clay bodies. The one I
referred to is, I think, actually cone 6-10.
