peace vases, king arthur

Marie(mary) I make "Peace Vases" because that is what my god told =
me to do ....I make them in the hope that, someday, all will be too busy =
searching for a flower for their sweetie to commit dispicable =
acts....The really strange part is that he told me the day before the =
tragedy that you are now so involved in.....
Let me tell you a little story:
In the land where imperialism started(Britan) lived a wise =
King(Arthur).....One day while afoot he was told the story of the giant =
of Mt St Micheals....It seems there was a nasty giant living there who =
accosted and hurt all that dared to come close....Lately he had even =
accosted the most fair...The Duchess....Arthur and two of his nights =
went to investigate....They found a woman weeping over the Duchess's =
grave....They told her they were Arthur and his Knights and they would =
soon put an end to the tyranny of the giant...She told them the giant =
would treat them no differently than he had the countless others...."He =
doesn't care that you are the king"....Arthur said "No matter" and he =
climbed the hill to the giants abode.....When he arrived he shouted "I =
am Arthur and I am here to end your miseralble life"....The giant =
grabbed his club and begged to differ...Arthur smote him with his =
sword....They grappled and rolled down the hill to where Arthurs loyal =
knights were(all the while Arthur made good use of his dagger)....The =
loyal knights removed the giant's head and placed it on a stake as a =
warning to others who would disturb the peacable kingdom.....
This story hails from before the conception of Islam...It =
illustrates right from wrong....A subject made much more clear to us all =
recently.....The world has it's share of heros....and they can tell =
right from wrong....The world has it's share of ogres....As the imortal =
Paul Simon would say ....."Momma looked down and she spit on the ground, =
everytime his name is mentioned"......We (the world) now have heros to =
fight the evil....The evil is more clearly defined
What are they fighting for?.....They are fighting for the Peacable =
Kingdom so that the Peace may sustain and grow stronger....They are =
fighting for the compromises that people make for other people.....They =
are fighting for the peaceable potter making his vases to promote the =
Peace....When the evil orges and giants rear their ugly heads the heros =
will smite them with their swords(updated since those days)....and place =
their heads on a stake as a warning that none should disturb the =
Peaceable Kingdom....The Global Village; where disputes can be settled =
by debate

I really enjoyed your story, Don. Thanks. :)

What a very good point you made. Our British
friends will differ, as I do, with your mention of
GB as the birthplace of imperialism. What happened
to Rome? To Greece? To Babylon? (and etc.) But
aside from that, thanks for a little sanity.

OK, I want to know who REALLY sent this? Come on, who REALLY wrote this
message, and how did you get the computer to make it look like it came
from Arti?

we may not have started it, but we managed all the classic mistakes along
the way, and came up with a few of our own.....
