Hi Folks.

For anyone interested, I did succeed in converting
(with your help) the Cornwall Stone version of
Tenmoku Gold to a version using ingredients more
common in my locale (USA). Here it is:

Tenmoku Gold ^6 oxidation

=================
WHITING............. 10.00 10.00%
GERSTLEY BORATE..... 3.00 3.00%
LITHIUM CARBONATE... 5.00 5.00%
DOLOMITE............ 4.00 4.00%
FLINT............... 21.00 21.00%
IRON OXIDE RED...... 10.00 10.00%
CUSTER FELDSPAR..... 37.00 37.00%
EPK KAOLIN.......... 8.00 8.00%
MAGNESIUM CARBONATE. 2.00 2.00%
========
100.00

CaO 0.46* 9.62%
Li2O 0.21* 2.35%
MgO 0.14* 2.13%
K2O 0.13* 4.42%
Na2O 0.06* 1.44%
SrO 0.00* 0.01%
TiO2 0.00 0.03%
Al2O3 0.29 10.94%
B2O3 0.04 1.01%
P2O5 0.00 0.02%
SiO2 2.52 56.60%
Fe2O3 0.19 11.44%

With a little work, I'm sure you could get rid of
the Gerstley Borate as well, but I didn't bother
as I have enough. The amount is small, though, and
I'm sure it could be easily replaced. Despite the
high lithium content, I have had absolutely no
shivering problems on my clay. I've been using
this glaze all summer on personal items, so it's
had plenty of time to begin flaking off if it
intends to. You'll need to test for this on your
own, of course.

This version is, as far as I can tell, a dead
ringer with the Cornwall Stone version. Black with
tiny gold flecks if thin, the thicker you get it,
the more gold you'll see. Enchanting. Thanks again
to everyone who helped me.
