An occasional squirt of silicone on the drive belt & pulley really quiets things
down.
If you can afford it Pacifica makes a WONDERFUL seat that attaches to the wheel
frame it really keeps the wheel from 'walking' when you are trying to center a
large hunk of clay. The seat is about $130. It's a big 'ol padded 'tractor seat'
I had a chance to 'test drive' one and am doing some serious hinting with the boss
for Christmas.
