Hi
I just caught a few replys to this.
It could be that what you are seeing is burn off from
the clay.Does it smell bad, or do you get a tingling
in your throat? If so be careful.
I worked in a studio that had envirovents, but tried
to run the ductwork too far and they were useless.
The result was a thick blueish white haze in the air
during the last stages of bisque firing.
I was told later that it was sulphur dioxide.( also
told it was harmless! in my opinion, a lie so they
wouldnt have to do something about it).
Now I've built up some kind of sensitivity to it and
cant even stand to smell it. I cough, my nose runs, my
eyes tear.
Luckily I no longer work there.
