How important is that feature to you?
Thanks for your input,

I like the idea plus, if I can do that I can have a record, a database of my
firings (assuming the software would allow this feature).

Yes, I'd like to have my electric and gas kiln temp probes linked to my computer in
my house (about 200 feet from the studio) so I could monitor firings from there.
Also would give me a document (graph) file of the firing that I could archive and
refer to from time to time. Does Paragon offer such a link?

Yes, we are coming out with a kit that will enable the user to
connect a computer to Paragon's Sentry 12-key controller.
Another option now available on new kilns: the "Auxiliary Output"
(AOP). This is a digitally controlled electrical outlet in the
kiln's switch box. You can use the AOP for controlling either a
kiln vent or alarm.
The kiln's alarm can activate a bell or light connected to the AOP
through an extension cord.
Thanks for responding to my question.

Hi Arnold,
I think this is something I would like to be able to do. My kiln is in a
detached garage, a bit of a cold walk in the winter, especially with a small
child in tow. I think that I would find it to be a valuable asset.
Sincerely,
Nikki Simmons
