Dart Ceramics Art Studio is a non- profit cooperative
dedicated to providing an inexpensive facility for
artist to create and teach. We offer classes in clay
sculpture, pottery, and glass. We also have private
art studios for rent and a general membership
($100/mo.) which allows 24 hr. access.
Our center is divided into two areas, upstairs and
down. The upstairs is open to all members and those
participating in classes. It includes pottery,
sculpture, glaze, and kiln areas. There is also an
area for photographing art work. The downstairs is
divided into eight private art studios, a small
kitchen, and an office. The studios range form 150 to
300sq/ft and cost $150 - $300 per month. The rent
includes 24 hr. access, glazes, four firings,
electricity, heat, phone, and some basic chores
divided amongst all members.
All members may take classes at a discounted price.
Members do have the option to teach classes at the
rate of $25/hr. (minimum four students)
