cooktop luster firing

Hi Imzadi....here's what you can do for fun....make some beads and glaze
them. After firing, put on lusters or gold/palladium, etc.. Stick on the
end of a needle tool or nichrome wire and stick at the top of the blue part
of the flame on your gas cook top until you see luster forming... Instant
luster...not for perfectionists, but interesting and immediate....I have a
blowtorch just to play around with, but the gas flame of the stove is fun
too...Use your old needle tools, as they won't be too good
afterwards....You're right, it's not safe.....so it's bad advice, but it's
