Does anyone have feedback to offer regarding the Thomas.Stuart Pro wheel, or
Creative Industries HP or Big Boss or the new Shimpo's? Do these things ever
need much in the way of service that you can't do yourself?
For others also seeking feedback ... I have an ancient shimpo that works
well. I have tried a Pacifica and a Bailey's at the local art centre. I don't
like the bailey's.. had to do constant battle with the pedal to get it to
stop, it's noisy and somehow the relationship of wheelhead to pan makes for
incredible splash everywhere but the pan..... clean up would probably be best
with a hose.
The pacifica has a nice feel to it but I find it also very splashy and a bit
on th noisy side compared to my ancient Shimpo........ I thing that others
tend to grow to love their Pacifica so I haven't ditched that as an option
yet.......
