love the idea of using a blowtorch for lustre application,I could save =
time and money, however, the wind method seems a bit hit and miss to me.
Does anybody know if a 3M 6000 Series Half mask (it says in the =
instruction booklet "designed for removing potentially harmful gases, =
vapours from the atmosphere) would be enough protection from potential =
hazardous fumes?

For luster fumes, I wouldn't suggest anything
not labeled 'for organic vapors'. An ordinary
chemical fume/vapor mask won't do it.
