Nils,
Two years ago, I ordered a set of burners from you to go with the MFT I
buklt. After two years of use, I had some rust on my burners that was
blocking the orifice on my pilot burners, causing them to go out. Then, of
course my big burners would shut off too. I cleaned the orifice on one of
them with a dental tool and it works great, but I broke the end of the dental
tool off in the orifice of the other burner. I couldn't get it out, so I
drilled a tiny hole in it and I managed to fire off my kiln. However, the
orifice is too big. I have tried to get a heating and cooling person to work
on it without any luck. Can I order a new part? Could I cut off that pilot
and weld on a new pilot burner? Do I need to get a whole new burner? Also,
the regulator is not working anymore. At first, the regulator became harder
and harder to turn until I couldn't turn it anymore. I took it to a guy
(heating&cooling) who worked on it and nowI can then turn it easily. But
when I tried to use it, it didn't seem to measure any kind of pressure. It
wasn't doing anything. I have fired the kiln a few times with it this way,
but I know I am using too much gas in the early stages of the firing. I
think I need to just get a new one. Can I order these things from you? Is
there a company where I can order them? I'm sorry to have bothered you. I
have your personal email address on my big computer, but it's having problems
right now. Thanks again, Tonya in Louisville, KY
