Cor Duijnker is a teacher/lecturer in engineering
in Holland.
He now has full permission to take a sabbatical year off to learn more about
his hobby of pottery.
So, in January 2002, he comes to Webb's Cottage for about six weeks.
But I would like him to be able to visit other parts of the UK, staying a
few days with other potters, with other ideas, methods etc. Perhaps a link
between pottery and engineering would be the way forward?
I've seen photos of his ware. Very good stuff.
So, any offers, any interest?

He is due to then visit the USA for about 3 months, but the pottery he was
planning to go to is having problems and might not be able to take him on.
So, again, are there others who would like the company, help, etc of this
very likeable chap.

His english is good, by the way, so you don't have to learn Esperanto or
Dutch.

Contact him on c.j.duijnker@chello.nl with a CC to me so that I know what is
happening and can make any necessary arrangements.

At the end of his sabbatical I hope we can together give him a good palette
of ideas of possibilities for the future.

I just wish I had had the opportunity of a year off to sort our my future
path when I was younger!!
