Hello .... leather hard pots right after trimming is best time to
sign. I have a cup full of old ball point pens and like the old cheap
bic's best but grab what ever is available... sign and when the pot is bone
dry use a green scrubby to sand the crap off... bisque fire then wax your
name out so glaze does not stick to it.. lots of times you can still see my
name thru the glaze but lots of times you cant and people LOOK for your
john hancock so its safer to wax it out...

Cat back from Southern Highland Show in Asheville NC this last long 4
days !!!! Good attendance even though its down and good sales even
though they are down it was really heartening to see AMERICANS out and
about supporting not only the ARTS but AMERICAN ARTIST , patriotism is
alive in this country and it boggles the imagination... Saw Bill from
Persimmons Hill and he is doing wonderful and is a new/old guild member
juried in with metal this time , just exquisite copper and bronze handles
on canes !!!! His wifes quilt work would blow you all away too ... also
met a number of clay arters that lurk and it was like meeting family !!!!
I was spinning on my head happy soo happy that they stopped and talked to
me... ps didnt draw any blood this show either ;o) and the 200 bucks
I donated back to the show dinner opening nite bought lots of beer ( adams
) think thats a step up from old milwacky or nasty's aka narraganset (
cheap yankee beer) ps we use to brew our own and made some incredible
expensive awesome beers ie " goat scrotum ale , pumpkin ale etc... " but had
to stop as my hubby liked it toooooooo much and home brew knocks your socks
off... LOL...

Say, Cat, Anything new on the threatening jerk who knocked part of your
display down and then treated you badly? Maybe you reported and I missed
it...
