Good Morning Everyone,

A question that has been floating in and out to ask, for those who throw
clay on the wheel.

What are good throwing bodies, that you can get commercially ?

Some names would help, so that I can look for them here locally, got
Aardvark Clay about 3 miles from the house, pretty big place and lots of
clays, only not much help when I try to ask questions or get information.
(Some people do not take the time to deal with someone trying to find words
fast enough to talk them, only I also understand that it is not others deal,
to have to deal with my speech problems, thank God or is that Bill Gates for
spell checkers)

Found out that the man who was trying to hard sell me a electric wheel is
one of the head honcho types there.

Also got the retail store of Kemper Tools about 30 miles to the north in
Chino, had to go up there to get a replacement pedal for the wheel Dennis
loaned me (Clay Devil), they have a decent selection, although half of it is
from Aardvark. Although they also have Laguna and a few other brands.

Perhaps after I get my workspace figured out and built in the backyard, I
can look at mixing my own. Try some of that fermenting processed clay. :-)

Thank You,
Bud

Hey, Bud...

How are you going to fire and to what cone, throw and/or hand build?  There are lots of good clay vendors out there but they too will need to know what you want a clay to do...
