Hi!
I write Hi! when I don't have a better starting point I write my
letters late at night (when you eat lunch) .So sometimes I make small
mistakes.
2% CMC are 2 grams for 100 grams hence for 1000 it is 20 grams. The
water in the prepared solution is 20 grams probably 21 grams but it is
not cobalt that we have to be so carful about the amount or 20 M'L or
20CC) for each gram of powdered CMC. So it is 20X20+400 or I shall dump
my calculator (My head)
My CMC, I belive, comes from Germany.
You must try it yourself. One thing is sure as more water you have in
the solution, it will be easier to pass it through the sieve.
I asked once the or a manufacturer of the CMC about bad smell. They me
wrote me that it does not become spoiled. They are right. If it get
STINK it happens because of something we add to it. (Glaze engob ETC).
Hope it is better explanation.
