Someone (sorry, I did not keep the e-mail, so do not know who wrote about=
this) mentioned getting cracks in the bottom of pots thrown off the hump.=

learned sometime ago, either from Clayart or at a workshop, to turn the
pots over when leather hard, and to compress the bottoms from the outside=
with a wooden tool. I have never had cracks using this method. Hope this
