you have spent too much time firing at hay creek.
those gals follow carrie brooks and fire cone 11 flat.
however, i sure have learned that cone 9 down and
10 just starting gives me pretty wimpy firings.
i like cone 10 over and just touching, and that
means that 11 is about at 2 o'clock. perfect.
(my glazes like heat. shino, rhodes 32...)
i think a great many glaze sins are covered with a little
heat.

well, the saga goes on. grandma died this thursday.
been with us for 17 years. 92 + years old. a grand
lady, and we will miss her.
we are not going to miss 2001 very much.
