I think I'm going to quit fighting the ^11 firings. Now that Mel has =
described his best firings, I see by my notes that that is exactly the =
postion of my cones during two consecutive firings... and the glazes =
looked great.... after they cooled. They looked even better with a 3 =
hour soak at 2000 F.

I had a firing, just two days ago, that the ^11 went flat, oops. But my
temmoku test looked all pitted and gnarly. I thought it was overfired.
Is the only way you can tell if a glaze overfired is the puddle underneath
it? Does an overfired glaze ever pit? My other glazes like the heat, but
not that one. Maybe it's the formula.
